Outlook is one of the most popular and widely used web mail client

One can send and receive emails to any part of the world through this program. Microsoft Outlook is a client/server application where it stores the information for the user’s mailboxes, contacts, email passwords, and all types of other items. This application helps the user in various ways including managing email accounts, calendars, tasks, and email attachments. The mail account is managed by the user and all mail sent to the client is managed by the Outlook program. Outlook is widely used by business users as it allows for management of multiple email accounts with the help of a single centralized location.

Outlook connects to the server through an internet connection via an email account.

This email account stores all the user’s emails and contacts which are usually accessed through Outlook. The emails sent from the Outlook program are sent to the client on the user’s email server. The Outlook server stores all the mails that have been sent by the user. The Outlook service is responsible for sending and receiving all the emails on behalf of the user. Outlook stores the entire history of the emails, email attachments, and the date when the email was received or sent.

Microsoft Outlook comes with different options which can be customized according to the requirements of the organization. There are third-party companies who provide Microsoft Outlook support services. These support service providers can give help in various ways such as customization of the desktop and task bars. There are also other options such as changing the layout of the desktop, setting the time and day of the week and also locking the screen saver.

Microsoft Outlook also utilizes the Windows server to store the data. Microsoft Exchange Server is the main database which stores all the mails and other email related information. This system also acts as the main mail server for Outlook. The email storage can be done directly through the Exchange Server or by using the offline folder feature of Microsoft Outlook. The offline folder feature of Outlook allows email not to be stored on the user’s main server but it is stored on the servers which are accessed by the user. Outlook can connect to the Exchange Server when it is not in use.

Microsoft Outlook also allows storing email and the corresponding mail folders in the Exchange Server.

The email service is again divided into two parts such as the threaded mail messages and the email attachments service. The mail messages are not really deleted from the Outlook client itself but are moved to the specified email folders such as ‘Spam’ and ‘Junk Mail’. The mail attached to the email address also gets deleted when the user removes it from the ‘mailbox’ view. The ‘Junk Mail’ folder is removed by clicking on the ‘gear’ icon found at the top right of the screen and choosing the ‘mail’ option.

The Outlook window displays all the emails that have been exchanged between you and the recipient. Outlook displays the name of the sender, the subject line, and a small portion of the body of the message. The ‘To’ field has a list of the various recipients who have received the email and the dates and times of sending the email. The ‘To’ Field also contains the various email attachments which are being used by Outlook.

Outlook has some powerful features such as the ‘junk mail’ folder which stores un-read emails. If you delete an email in Outlook, you will find out about it along with the subject and a summary of the email. The outlook also allows storing and saving the emails in the’Favorites’ folder. This folder helps in keeping a track of your email folders. You can access the ‘Favorites’ and delete or set it as the ‘Mail Boxes’. The ‘Search’ option lets you search for the email messages in Outlook and the other search options let you look for the email attachments in Outlook.
